Job Description:
Our client specialises in the management of water quality in commercial and industrial buildings throughout the UK. The strength and depth of technical expertise within the company is a reflection of the emphasis on staff training. Some of their areas of expertise include the following: Legionella risk assessment and Preventative maintenance programmes, Water sampling and analysis, Disinfection of domestic water systems, Cooling tower management and Swimming pool & spa sampling.

They are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Field-based Engineer to join their Wiltshire office. You will be responsible to Technical & Operations Director. The purpose of the position is to provide high quality, efficient and effective basic water sampling activities direct to customers at a range of different locations. To assist Engineers in cleaning and disinfecting operations

You will promote the Company and its services by demonstrating a high level of personal efficiency and effectiveness at all times, developing positive customer relationships and having a detailed arid up-to-dale knowledge of the services provided by the company

Set an example to other staff in standards of performance and approach to work eg punctuality, enthusiasm

Identify potential problems and take action to address as appropriate and in consultation with your manager or supervisor

Comply with ISO 9001 policies and procedures and maintain appropriate paperwork, particularly visit/service sheets, overtime and expense claim forms, weekly/daily visit records,
annual leave and sickness forms

To liaise effectively with customers both face-to-face and on the telephone, as required, in order to provide an effective high quality service to foster positive relationships and to enhance the reputation of the company

Duties will include -

Management of bacterial sampling for UKAS analysis
Temperature monitoring of domestic water systems
Storage capacity testing of domestic water tanks
Domestic water storage tank inspection
Weekly cooling systems service visits
Bacterial sampling of domestic water systems
General bacteria sampling of domestic system
Legionella sampling of domestic water system
Bacteria sampling of cooling system
Legionella sampling of cooling systems

To undertake internal and/or external training as required and agreed with your manager in order to be able to complete your training as possible by demonstrating the necessary competencies required for appointment to Engineer

Other duties include complying with Company Policies in the use, maintenance and care of any Company Vehicle you are required to use in course of your work, attending and participate in Operation Team meetings and activities as required and carrying out any other tasks as may reasonably required by your manager.

No previous experience is necessary but candidate must have either a relevant science or engineering degree.
